Unfortunately trees are not naturally so wonderful...
If you burn them, they release most of their absorbed CO2 back into the atmosphere. If allowed to die and decompose on the forest floor, again most of the absorbed CO2 gets released back in the atmosphere.
Unlike cement, cutting down trees and building structures helps because the absorbed CO2 is contained (at least until demolition). Alternatively dead wood can be cleared from forests and stored air tight underground to create a carbon sink. But enough wood debris must be left on forest floors to maintain the bio systems.
The migrant crisis is a mere gust of the hurricane that will soon engulf Europe
Huge population growth in Africa and Asia makes it imperative the EU manages its borders — and promotes stability abroad.
Fully half of all the population increase globally in the next 35 years is expected to be in one continent: Africa. What is more, that increase will mainly be in poorer, less stable countries, alongside massive growth in numbers in the most war-torn areas of the Middle East, such as Yemen and Iraq.
The numbers that emerge are stark. The increase in Africa’s population alone is set to be 1.3 billion by 2050, about two-and-a-half times the entire population of the EU today. Put another way, the number of people in Africa and western Asia is expected to increase by over 110,000 every single day for decades to come.

Contrast that awful prospect with this video. By saving lives now, what's going to happen in future

Planet Earth will adapt and survive like it always has. But will mankind be clever enough to survive along with it
looks like MB have now got a problem regarding this emission situation the same as VW.
I can see a future problem here. when all these shiny new HP deals come to an end and people need to pay the balance, they'll walk and the market will be flooded with diesel cars that nobody will want to buy.
my advice is if you own a diesel now, don't trade it in or sell it as it will be worthless soon. instead drive it into the ground and carry on polluting the atmosphere. I will.

"Don't know about the £200 a month Merc but MB want £6000 deposit plus £369 a month for a c220 AMG which works out at about £20,000 over three years with a final purchase value of £13500. I wonder how many people think that's a good deal.
Yeah totally agree we had a display model 7 series BMW in for repair and they wanted something like 9 grand deposit £800 a month for 5 years and final payment of 25 grand ish if I remember right, so yeah that's a good cheap deal aswell lol. "

But what are we going to do about all those diesel trucks, buses, vans, railway locomotives, ships and stationary engines ...
