One of our engineers at work passed away in his sleep this week, funeral's on Monday

Sometimes a long innings can be tricky too...my mum's 89 and just been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. All we get now is 'I wish I'd died last year '. But within a minute she's forgotten.

Apparently 20% of men die before the age of 65 (Developed World). In third world countries, mortality is much higher. So dying in your 50s is not that unusual - several of my contemporaries already have...Duncan wrote:I'd say late 50's... certainly shorter innings than would be fair.
