2017 Rally Update...

As it says on the tin, General and off Topic area, talk about anything in here (within reason!)

2017 Rally Update...

Post by Neil Evans »

For those not on Facebook, Samantha Hoyes has made this post...

Just a quick note to let you all know for 2017:
I've had an email from the village hall committee and they are allowing well behaved dogs on leads onto the rally field. This is on the understanding all mess is cleaned up an the site returned to them clean. Have a nice day everyone

The 2017 International Rally is to be held at Hibaldstow Village Hall and playing fields, North Lincolnshire. I am sure the committee will post some official information on here soon.

Hmm 50 minute drive from Cadwell Park.

Does the club want to hire the track for us?

Could make a block booking at Cadwell if there's a track day over the National weekend...

I thought this would be tricky for accommodation so I have booked some digs already. A lot nearer than this year. Seems that you may need to act fast as most places are booked already.

Brian, John and ourselves Pete and Linda called and had a look at the 2017 Rally site yesterday after returning on the ferry from the Dutch 35th Anniversary Rally.
The Rally field is only 30 miles from Hull Docks, very convenient for our Oversea's members.
We were very impressed with the grounds and the village hall.

Time to start thinking about what you are going to be taking then Neil, no excuse for going to a national in your home county in anything other than an A30 or A35

Hmmm, seems like those from South Devon will be doing more miles to get to Lincolnshire than our overseas cousins!! good job we are planning to be in the area a lot longer than a weekend! 8) 8)

did look at that, but it was too posh for me. I am close by to this DC. we could sink some cold beers and then sing dirty rugby songs into the early hours! :clapping:
