Our 1st A30 Restoration
Re: Our 1st A30 Restoration
Fronts are uprated lever arms from Magic Midget. Can't comment on how they are just yet as they're not currently fitted.
The rear dampers aren't for the car but I'm being creative and hopefully will mean a bolt on fitment

Both wings removed and everything looks solid with the inner wings!

Interesting location of non-standard washer bottle ..
How the heck did they fill that up? Drag it out using the hose and drop it back in?

i think it's to trick you to ask the question, i think it came from under the bonnet & been put through the hole in the inner wings so people ask the questiongazza82 wrote:Interesting location of non-standard washer bottle ..

I must admit i didn't expect to find it there when I removed the wing! Very odd location and I guess it was dragged out with the pipe through the inner wing. Definitely won't be going back there!

Re: Our 1st A30 Restoration
I've seen them fitted like this before, particularly on cars that had been restored with originality in mind, so the bottle was hidden away from sight. It's common practice on modern cars... the Ford Focus has a long narrow reservoir that's moulded to fit the shape of the gap between the inner and outer wing...

Got a few bits today for when I start the bodywork. I know it's a bit early but I can't help it!

She's now ready to go to the shot blasters! I've just got to organise timings as I want it to go straight into primer.
