well being as it was a nice hot day, i cut a big hole in the 'poly-mask' & painted the roof :)

Always a nice stage when you get the paint on for the first time, now you've just got all that rubbing down to look forward to!

Nick, what do you use to cut it back with ?? I have used Farecla but you need to keep the mop damp or it cuts too much off. Looking forward to seeing some more photos too.
i use Farecla G3 liquid (with damp mop head) & compounding head courtesy of their rep as test samples :wink:

That's looking real smart Nick, nice reflection in that new paint. What treatment is the underside getting on top of the paint, clear waxoil?

Cellulose & it went on fabulous, i didn't want to use water base paint

You can still get 2 pack around here in solvent based solid colours, strictly for classic car use only you understand.... :wink:

Not that I ever do any painting.....

I recently had a Wolseley 16/60 pedal car repainted in Trafalgar Blue, 2 pack. Looks better than new.... 8)

Presumably the same reason you avoided the water based as it needs a 2 pack lacquer to seal it and give it a shine.
