Re: A40 Farina Countryman restoration
Always satisfying to see some colour going on.
Interesting to see the different treatment of the suspension and steering braces on the A40 compared to the A35 - my turbo definitely would not fit in there without major surgery.

Re: A40 Farina Countryman restoration
no pic's today, i have been outside painting my refurbished front suspension, the nearside is part fitted now it is going to be heavily polymasked when i paint the car, well it's pointless putting the knackered suspension back on just to move the car for painting & take it all back off again to put the refurbished lot back on

Re: A40 Farina Countryman restoration
well an update, i'm off this week & working hard on the car, yesterday i went to a fellow club members home to pick up some spares & just out of the blue he asked me how i was getting on with the car & i said it was nearly ready for painting & he asked me what sort of figure i was going to sell it for & just turned round & said 'i'll have that off you' & he hasn't seen it!!!

Re: A40 Farina Countryman restoration
all 'polymasked' over to stop any birds leaving their calling card on the fresh paint, all i need to do is cut a hole in the top of the poly sheeting, mask it off & paint the roof.
