Suggest worrying more about your rubber belt keeping the camshafts under control. Don't want any nasty valve clash with those lovely forged Omega pistons...

Reckon this decal could suit your A30...

Less is more when it comes to decals IMHO on that car . I only have the club sticker as it matches the interior

By overtaking people on the Autobahn

If you want to display this BD you could go on a "Pride" march in your lederhosen

You mean East Germans driving Trabbies :?: ...

Seriously though, you should display pride when your car beats with a German heart...

I think that it would be untrue to say that my car might one day have a German heart

The bulk of the engine will be English with parts from the Midlands and Norfolk and an exhaust manifold from Wiltshire. I hope that the majority of the assembly will take place in Buckinghamshire

Is that a defensive position :?: My quips were meant in jest. CB expected some stick but hope I haven't gone too far...

Anyway who am I to talk ? Evo2 has a complete Puma 1.7L LVPP engine which was manufactured by Yamaha (unlike smaller Sigma engines). So Evo2 really does have a Japanese heart - BANZAI

Setting up the top two cam shafts will be a challenge

Shame you haven't got a twin cam 16valve four cylinder sat in your workshop to practice on ! :)

I've got two spare Sigma engines on my shelf. Complete 1.6L 16-valve is for sale at price probably much less than your Omega pistons. Might even sell the spare 1.7...

Complete Sigma engine is a much faster route to 16 valves. And it has an aluminium block. And it has more displacement...

You must have heard the old adage: There's no replacement for displacement...
