Well last weekend went fairly well, R.G.Swains parts shed, pictured to the left, came down on Sunday and was packed in the works van (Thanks for the loan Diveline) along with a large amount of spares and assorted parts destined one day to be reunited with the little Van.

Then on Monday Kate, Abbi, Austin and I went to it's new location, where we met up with Alan, Ellie and Mike. I spent the day, putting the shed up, making the field shelter secure and loading all the A30 parts back into the shed, while Kate cleaned the caravan out and did some caravan food for us all. It was a very pleasant day with only a little rain. So next job is taking the other shed (Dive gear) down, finishing the field shelter, put the shed back up and make a start on clearing the garage. Going to the Car show in Felixstowe Sunday first.

David, it makes me feel a little weary just reading all that you are achieving in the enforced move. !

Hope all goes well and look forward to seeing you in Lincolnshire.

Curious to what the locally brewed beer tastes like!

Lincolnshire beer's ok, but you might find it a bit warm compared to Amsterdam! Was hoping to meet you all there this year as it's not too far from us. Sadly family issues have arisen.

It's so much easier now, they just send a reminder and you type in the reference number online. The reminders still state that this vehicle needs a valid MOT, but if you ignore that bit it goes through no problem.

Yes Gazza, free for all the Austins, not so for the MG and the Saab. They are all taxed and insured, and the Austins will one day be running around on the Nations streets again. :D

I visited with Neil a couple of weeks ago, and enjoyed a good natter over tea and cakes, I was rather surprised and shocked at everything that has been going on over the last few months between Him and other club members and officials, it accounts for His absence here on the forum, I feel that no longer having His help and technical advice here on the forum, will be a huge loss for the club and forum.
While I was there, I paid R.G.Swain a visit, just to see how He is doing, and I am glad to say that He looks to be in good company staying safe and dry, but the visit was also a little upsetting, in that I still have not had the money for Neil to commence work, and so He still looks to be in rather a sorry state.

In other news, we have had more visits from surveyors at the new house, and the cracks seem to be ok (So hopefully we will not have to move again, just yet :D ) But they have found asbestos in the loft (Which will be removed at the end of next week) and one half of the loft had had its insulation moved for work to be carried out at some point in the past, but the insulation had not been refitted after the work had been completed, this would account for Abbi's room being so much colder than the rest of the house.
I hope to see everyone at the rally in a couple of weeks.

I need to seriously form a plan of attack for R.G. Swain as Abbi has announced Her desire to travel to Her prom in Him! That gives me three and a half years to get Him finished, seems a long time, but I am sure that it will fly by very very quickly.
