Hi guys
DOES ANY ONE KNOW THE HISTORY OF A35 VAN FIRST REG 06/11/68 1098CC HISTORIC VEHICLE.
ALSO IS THIS VECHICLE TAX EXEMPT AND TEST CERIFICATE REQUIRED.

it is a very late registered van, it is tax exempt but does require an MOT

Nick is right, Kay's catalogue s were part of the once mighty Great Universal Stores group and they had a very big fleet of A35 vans for home deliveries. A few have survived but they had a hard life as did most vans that were in commercial use at that time. I did a feature on some of them a couple of years ago. Time I did an update for the Autumn Sidelights magazine....

Thanks to all who replied my refurb is a kays van then after paint job putting all bits back on ,repaired from bottom up remade some body panel bits including door pillar supports.will send photo when finished taken pictures of all stages had a lot of advice from forum members.

I have Got the full history of my car from the DVLA by filling in a V888 (available from the internet )and a cheque for £5. Well worth the money.
