Sounds like it's going well except for a couple of issues that are being resolved, I still think it looks stunning in the colour you've gone for, just hope I can see it in person at some point.
fsmlittler wrote:The biggest remaining issue is sorting out the bump stear we've got as a result of the lower front ride height-open to advise from anyone who's dealt with this.
Raise the ride height?

Other than that I think it's a case of having to play with the height of steering components, but not sure how that would be done if it can be done.

We're using 600lb springs supplied by Darryl or Rae. I also think we have play in the steering box which isn't helping but it became very obvious driving to Devon yesterday on bumpy roads and under heavy braking the car is darting around trying to change direction.

That's odd, I am running 400ib springs and lowered about 2 inches and mine runs straight as a die. Have you tried alternative tracking settings a bit more toe inn may help and as you say a bit of slop in the steering box cannot help matters.

Roy
We've checked the tracking and have it at factory do may try a little tweak but the problem is really under heavy braking and bumps...straight line and smooth surfaces are perfect.

Adjustable outer tie rods may be the way forward as shown on this A40 race car

This may not be relevant but EVO2 did suffer that sort of instability under heavy braking over bumps.

It has been suggested that the car could be on the bump stops, which would mean that with no suspension movement left the tyres were providing compliance - and over bumps and uneven surfaces this would make for instability.

Back axle seems great with just RDR springs and the Panhard rod.
