Hi
Picture was example of modification. They do sell modified heads but they as based in Australia!. I used their web projects and Vizard's book to see what was possible with the 202 head. I got a cheap die grinder of eBay so am going to have a go myself

Not too difficult to make a substantial improvement with a die grinder, but do avoid the trap of "bigger is better" - shape is more important.
I also recommend that you use carbide burrs in the grinder as they last 10 times as long as anything else, even though they are pretty expensive. Finish with suitable grinding stones and don,t waste hours polishing which is mostly an aid to sales !

Not sure it's a easy as that. You will have to measure the volume of the newly opened up combustion chambers and work it out from that.

If you start with a standard 202 the original volume is 26.1cc. You'll need to return it to that to get the same CR.

There are a few CR calculation tools on the interweb .. I use this one ... http://www.gtsparkplugs.com/CompRatioCalc.html

The project continues with a few issues...front suspension and brakes now fully re-built..however master cylinder is now pouring out fluid at each brake bleed attempt. I think I might try after marked master cylinder from car builder solution(re-sealed A35 van master cylinder 30 years ago with very mixed results) Other issue is I failed to take any measurements when I replaced track rods so one hub is facing forward and the other one is mid turn!!(see pictures) Has anyone got any basic length measurements for the track rods?(Enough to get me to the local kwik-fit)
Decided to make a start on rear axle as both diff and half shaft seals leaking and to allow me to fit Midget half shafts. One bearing has basically turned to grinding paste....more expense!! :x

Looks like you may have fitted the trunnions the wrong way round so it's pushing the suspension out too far at the top.

That looks correct .. the bolt through the trunnion and shock arm should be BEHIND the kingpin .. not on the drum side. I assume that the arms are the originals and not Midget ones .. the latter doesn't fit/work.

Sacco made up a remote cylinder for his A30 ... search through his posts on here for how he did it ... I think he tapped into the existing reservoir on the master cylinder and had the remote one mounted up near the battery. Others may have devised different options ..

I wouldn't take it to kwikfit .. they probably wouldn't have a clue what it was! You might want to find an "old school" mechanic in a back-street garage who wants to go back in time ...

I agree with Beko, those trunnions are definitely the wrong way round. I made the same mistake with Gem.
