Wheel Studs and offset

Post by OVY871 »

Hopefully a quick easy question for some of you knowledgeable folk out there.

Does anyone know the offset of the standard A35 wheels?

And also are our wheel studs the same thread as a Mini?

Thanks

Don't know about the offset but the wheel studs are the same as mini , I actually run longer mini wheel studs on my hubs so even the mounting splines are the same .

Thanks for the help, looks like I might just have to chance it with the offset but at least I know the studs are the same diameter.

Wheel offset can be measured easily using vernier calipers

What wheels are you planning on fitting?

Not too sure yet, got my eye on a few. Main concern was if I was to fit some intended for a mini, could I still get them on my car.

Without serious mods to the arches you will struggle to get anything oversized under there. If it fits a Midget and its 5 inches wide and you keep the tyre size small enough then yes you may get away with it.
