I used the more expensive version (link within your link) and it massively reduced the smoke from my engine.
Well worth it over the round rubbers (which were broken up on mine)
Don't know if the DuPont is worth the extra over the ones in your link but I didn't want to do it twice!

Re: cylinder heads
Those are the only valve stem seals worth using.
Suggest only on the inlets though, the exhausts need a little oil.

Re: cylinder heads
I'm sure it is a weird UNS thread ... 16tpi x 5/8 .. I tried a BNF plug on my head and it wouldn't fit. Bought a specific plug for mine. (see Feb 20th post on here)

Re: cylinder heads
thanks gents. another question is the valve guides. they sit above the surface on the top of the head. would you know this height? forgot to measure before I removed them.

Re: cylinder heads
Not sure from memory the height of the valve guides Alan, but I am fairly certain that the height is given in the blue workshop manual.

Re: cylinder heads
OK, sorry, I was sure I Had read it in there, as I was going to replace mine. Not sure where I saw it then, maybe the old dark blue hard back manual? Possibly on John's thread.
