A Midget engine will rev more freely due to the smaller big ends and less reciprocating mass, but the A+ block is indeed stiffer.

All I can say is that I ran mine in exactly as CMES told me to, had it tuned by an expert, and it's running very nicely indeed.

I will ask him when I see him to collect my rear :wow:

I think he said the cranks were heavier had there were possibly issues where the locate to the block :study:

A lady locally was showing me her big ends . She pointed out that she had a strap on and I decided that it was a good time to leave

I was going to say that .. new big-end nuts though! If you look closely you can see the PE of my 206's rear badge that I removed to repaint the tailgate and didn't bother putting back! Behind the clear plastic rule.

Nice shiny new pistons too!

Since then I've added some arp washers under the bolt heads .. stops them cutting into the steel apparently .. (Oh, new bolts too!)
