Hellooo!

Post by Davey »

Hi there,

I'm davey and I'm just ready to get back into classic motoring after too many years driving moderns.

I spent years running Morris Minors and loved them, and I still run a little 1950 BSA Bantam motorcycle, which is rather nice but not for the winter.

So, I'm looking out for a nice, ready to run A35 (unless I'm tempted by another Minor!). I'm rather hoping that should I find something that looks suitable I might get a few pointers and things to look out for before I jump in and buy. I'm pretty confident I can tell a good A series from a bad one... but I don't know so much about the underpinnings or how to spot hidden rot!

Off now to look at the classifieds and ebay!

Chat soon I hope, davey.

Welcome, my 88 year old motorcyclist father had one of those & would jump on it now, he's laying up his helmet soon & after 70 years in the saddle due to a knee problem & starting to unable to hold the bike up whilst stationary

Ah, that's fab! If I'm still riding or even driving at 88 I'll be pretty pleased. Nice pic :-).
