Hello from the IoW

Post by IoW Orstin »

A quick hello from the lovely Isle of Wight.

Home of many fine classic cars and some very classic owners, most without functioning indicators or the ability to go above 20 mph

The A30 is quite a diversion for me as it is not only my first Austin but also the smallest car I have ever owned with her following a succession of V8's over the last 20 years.

It was restored about 6 years ago but the details are a bit sketchy and I'm starting to get acquainted with a bit of tidying and tinkering. I'm sure I am going to come up with some pretty basic questions in the very near future while my learning curve improves, please bear with me

I like the indicator mountings. Better than cutting holes in the metal. Looks lovely!

Yes, an unusually fine car you have there by the look of it!
