Belvoir Vale Group Meeting...
The meeting due to take place this wednesday has been cancelled due to the pub being unable to accommodate us this week because of the Xmas rush. We hope to see everyone in january when normal service resumes...

Was that Langer or the other place? I would have thought The Unicorns Head would be up and running again now.

Re: Belvoir Vale Group Meeting...
No, the meetings since the summer have been at The Manners Arms at Knipton. I understand that 'The Unicorn' at Langar is still closed following the fire but is due to reopen sometime early in the new year... it's been closed for well over a year now... We've yet to decide whether we return there or explore other options. The current place has an excellent choice of well kept ales but we would struggle for seating space if much more than a handful of us turned up... The, others we've tried, 'The Gregory' had space but they knew how to charge for stuff (and technically, the place wasn't in 'The Vale') and 'The Gap' had questionable quality ale, though I believe it has since changed management...
