Re: National Drive It Day - Thames Valley
Sun came out, roads dried, lovely meeting with Mini Club - and TMT managed about 4 miles before breaking down and having to be recovered home !
Believe everyone else had a great day and was deeply disappointed to have missed it and let TVG down.

A few pictures from the day
The last picture was taken at the Herb Garden near Sonning Common . We were some of the first people back there beating all but one Mini
The Thames Valley Mini club made us most welcome . Hope we get invited next year

No fuel pressure - still working on it and still no pressure despite changing both high pressure pump and filter.
Beginning to suspect the rising rate pressure regulator (unlikely) or maybe the adverse effect of unleaded on some of the flexible hoses in the system.

Turned out that the new pump I fitted was polarity sensitive and, using the original big n, little connectors it was pumping the wrong way .
Still did not find the original problem, but with a new pump and new filter, all lines blown through and fully road tested at full boost it seems OK.
