It's that date again .. 2nd Tuesday of the month so Thames Valley group will be meeting at the Bird in Hand from 7:30pm.

I noticed that they are doing some building works there when I drove past recently .. and the big tree in the car park has gone! :(

Yes I will be there in the BRZ!

Bird in Hand is closed so tonight's meeting will be at the Royal Oak. I have rung round to let people know and posted on Facebook.

Good to have some nice weather and a potential new member ( hope the initiation ceremony didn't put him off)
Think 14 of us is up there in the high numbers for attendance

What is the consensus on the Royal Oak ?

I will see if I can get the landlord to get in some Earl Grey !

Range of ales wasn't great last night .. one 3.2%, DoomBar  and one over 5%! :? ... ok if you are walking past I guess .. and no free WiFi! (to keep a check on the forum and facebook banter obviously!)

Sue thought it smelt "doggy" .. as in the canine kind! (Landlord has two!)

Think we should see what Wadsworths have done to the BIH before we decide (and more importantly how their ales measure up!).

BTW Landlord told me the Morgan Club has also de-camped there!
