tried to tax my car online, but it said I didn't have an MOT so wouldn't let me. last year it did let me. I think they need to sort this s*** out as its stupid.

'her indoors' went to the post office with the reminder and they did it in 30 seconds.............

The telephone system seems to work well. Never had any problems and I love the way that the robot voice says 'Austin ' or 'Morris ' in a sort of disbelieving way....

i taxed dads van last week online, the reminder said it required an MOT, i have never sent in a V112 MOT exempt form, i think it's more like hit & miss if it'll tax it or not :bash:

From recollection, Form V10, but you can only change to historic taxation class when taxing the vehicle.

Lots of info on this on the official government website - just Google historic tax.

I taxed my 1974 Honda motorcycle without realising that I could have changed it to historic tax and now have to wait another year to do It !

Dave , Cancel the tax and put it on Sorn, then send off logbook to change to historic and re tax for nothing.
