Things turned a lot worst for that car a year later when the owner (think he is Wayne Dukes, a congressman in Florida) took the car to a show and allowed someone to try it out and the result was a written off A35 and, from memory, a bent lamppost.

That's what the vid shows at 2:50 ... one very bent A35 .. later one very bent shell on a flat-bed heading for Austin heaven ... :(

Think the driver might have been a bit bent too given the state of the steering wheel!
