How to Setup Your Avatar Picture

Post by Richard »

Here are the instructions to setup your Avatar

1. Go to Control Panel
2. Profile
3. Edit Avatar

If you want to upload a picture that is stored on your computer AND is less than 80x80 size, then click 'Browse' next to 'Upload from your machine'.

If you want to upload a picture from a website then copy and paste the link into the box 'Link off-site'.

I had to resize my picture via photobucket, which is quite easy to do if you have a photobucket account: http://www.photobucket.com.

Resize your chosen picture to 80x80 size by:

1. Selecting 'Edit' above your chosen picture.
2. Resize
3. Enter '80' and '80' in the two text boxes and click apply.
4. Go back to the photobucket homepage, hover your mouse over your chosen resized picture, and you will get four links. Copy the 'Direct Link' and Paste it into the 'Link off-site' box in 'Edit Avatar' on this site.

Hope this helps, Richard.

Hi Countryboy,

Strange, are you using photobucket or trying to upload it from your pictures?

I've stuck it in my photobucket so if you want I'll host it for you, copy and paste this link in your "direct link" box.
