A30 resealing rear door window

Post by biffsA30 »

hi ..merry xmas all
just about finished the turkey so going to put new seals on my A30 rear door windows(fixed) and rear quarterlights.
do i
1) fit window seals to door then insert glass from inside car using string and lube method or
2) fit seal to glass and then fit to car from outside using string method

seal profile has a flat edge to it which looks like it goes on the outside of the door flange, leaving curved profile channel and edge to take glass on inside of door

quarter lights look ok to do

any help wecolmed
