Hope this helps see the photos as a guide to sussing the engine along with the other bloggs on here
The 948 of mone has been modded to take a screw cannister but the original still is also fitted in that vertical position. This is similar to the 1098 too
The 803 is a screw in filter coming straight off the block no extended housing. If it has this then an 803. The actual zenith type carb could also assist which type is on there
There is a mod kit for the 803 to take the later 948 screw filter so just beware of that

Thanks Guys, the car has arrived and fortunately is has a big 950 in gold under the rear of the two tappet covers - now to work out how to make it bigger!
