Holes in Front Plinth ?

Post by Nikki&Austin »

The are holes in my front plinth plugged with grommets.

They are too small to have been for spotlights and in any case would have blocked the indicator.

They also seem too wide for a lamp bar (unless the PO had a lot of badges !)

Any thoughts ?

Welding, paint, would that mean that I would have to enter the 'modified' section at the international ?

no it wouldn't, it would mean you have hidden the fact that someone had drilled two holes in the apron

Strange , but could be a long badge bar. Has this car ever been photographed at an event with this modification fitted ?

Apparently it came second in the a35 (shiny plinth) class in 2010, but no more prizes to justify a 3' very long bar !

not sure where your getting 'plinth' from, the only plinth i know of is the bases for the side lights, the panel where your holes are is on the front apron :study:

I can't imagine what else unless it was two individual badges, perhaps a club badge and a RAC/AA badge? An old gent in my village used to have at least 20 badges on several bars on the front of his aging Nissan...
