As the title... Someone on Facebook requested photos of the differences in steering wheels between AS3 and later models. I've copied them here as by monday they'll be consigned to oblivion over there...
Interestingly the AS3 wheel is half an inch smaller diameter than later ones. This AS3 wheel has been sprayed black at some point in its life. It's off a later car so should be plain grey, as inside the boss. Some earlier cars are known to have had a marbled effect finish...

Re: Steering Wheel Differences...
BTW the request was made because the guy had sent his wheel off to a specialist to be restored and found it has been destroyed in a fire at the premises... so if anyone has one spare...

Re: Steering Wheel Differences...
Seems to be a healthy demand for AS3 steering wheels, one for the club's spares scheme to have a batch of say 15 remade?

Re: Steering Wheel Differences...
Someone should send motility a selection of wheels in order that they can make a boss that fits the column - they said the one they had used to take measurements was green ?
