Front Door Window seals

Post by MikT »

I'm looking for a couple of rubber seals for the both Front doors
I only need the one that sits at the bottom of the window, the one that stops water running down the inside of the door.
It's for my 1958 A35.
I don't need the full set just the bottom part.

Thanks in advance

On an earlier thread someone posted that the following seal from Car Builder Solutions was an excellent fit. Have been meaning to get some myself! http://www.carbuildersolutions.com/uk/r ... -per-metre Others may stock similar as well.

Mick, besides replacing the rubber you should make sure the aperture behind the door panel has a plastic sheet or something similar covering it, tuck the bottom end of the plastic into the aperture. Water runs down the vertical supports holding the glass and without a covering makes mush of the door cards.

Many Thanks for that info .

Paulc. Yes, the original door inners are in place and seem to be doing their job.

I was going to go to Woolies but didn't know which one to get but this looks like tthe one. http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/p-1767-ru ... usion.aspx
