Re: removal of front wings
Owner has told me that the person he bought the vehicle of had promised to srnd on log book but they never materialised. What if I dont get log book , is there a procedure for getting a new one from DVLA.

Re: removal of front wings
yes you can get a replacement one but it'll cost you £25.00 even though you haven't lost it & you're just the innocent new owner, DVLA should change that ruleWill@Lisburn wrote:Owner has told me that the person he bought the vehicle of had promised to srnd on log book but they never materialised. Re: removal of front wings
I spoke to him recently about this and understand it's still at the development stage, but now that the 'academy' sales have slowed down he will have time to further it. I'm sure it would help oil the wheels if everyone interested in new wings made contact with Paul...Will@Lisburn wrote:Did Paul Clayton ever progress the possible production of steel front wings.

Re: removal of front wings
If im going to get this little saloon into the garage I will need to drive in and then move it sideways. Has anyone used the individual wheel dollies to move vehicles about. My floor is quite rough and has a slope. The wheels on the dollies are 3 " dia and can be steel or have plastic type finish. I see them for sale on e bay at £100 for set of four

Re: removal of front wings
The cheap ones arent great on really rough floors, but so long at there aren't potholes, the weight of the car should assist in overcoming resistance. If the floor slope is significant, have a second person downhill to stop it rolling into a wall (or other car!)
Some decent levelling compound painted over with garage paint to stop dust might assist on larger holes, although the wheels might dig in ?
Proper skates costs more than a car !
