And I've got these brackets you've mentioned Gary, they're quite substantial, and I may hopefully be able to utilise them in the way I'm doing it now :thumbs:

Would part number GBH249 the hoses for classic mini disc brake models also fit?

I think the drum brake model part number is GBH170. I was wondering if they differ in length

Alan, Moss have a sale on at the moment and the 249 is £5.31 and the 170 £5.53 inc VAT. Brake discs for Midgets £8.06!

Just looked at getting a couple of spare discs, and they quoted just over £10 for postage.......
I think I will leave it for now.
