yeah see what you mean, the post count is right but it claims the last post is by him ummmm.

no idea might have got confused, either the connection timed out when he made the post or something.

It does show that OVY was the last poting but in reality it was eddyramrod.

Its not the only incident, I'm sure its happened before, I know I'm loosing it but not that much

yeah i'm thinking that OVY871 actually did attempt to make a post but it wen't so far as registering on the database that the post of the last one entered but the connection timed out when actually making the post

Hi, just doing a test post, has this worked? have also made a thread and will also post a comment on the thread that said about the problem. These are all being done on my home computer.

looks like the two worked i deff think this missing post problem is something strange happening with your connection when you submit the post. Kind of like its call the database to alter certain things like the last poster in the tread then for some reason it gets cut before actually saving the post.

probably a combo of something strange happening and the forum code not handling things the right way.

if things continue with the missing posts for a few people I might look at using a different forum software
